Busy, Busy, Busy.

So, its been a little bit since my last post, mainly due to a lot of work recently, but also my computer died earlier this month, so kinda hard to blog. I returned to New Orleans for an additional week and a half in early September, then a quick visit to Hickory to see the family, and collect a new computer, and now I'm in Virginia Beach for the next few weeks. (looks like the next stops will be Richmond, then Charlotte, for those keeping score)

A couple of images, just to make this interesting, but they are from New Orleans, again.

A video of a Norfolk Southern railroad drawbridge opening. This bridge passes over the Industrial Canal's entrance to Lake Pontchartrain.

Birmingham

Managed to get out and take a few photos around Birmingham this weekend. Enjoy!

First up is this interesting 1913 skyscraper in downtown, recently converted to condos.
Downtown Birmingham is split north and south by the Norfolk Southern and CSX main lines.

A local switching some empty gondolas in downtown.

Even more from the Big Easy

A few extra New Orleans Photos I found after I developed the roll of film in my camera.
